Take L4's out of high-sec and watch the economies of the regions take an inflationary spin.
There are many issues in this game and L4's in high-sec just isn't one of them.
I'd be amazed if CCP thought otherwise.
Do you actually know what inflation is?
As I'm not talking about an increase in prices due to the increase in the volume of ISK in the regional economies but am more generally referring to a 'general and progressive increase in prices', which I believe is a commonly accepted definition of the term, yes I believe I do.
If you're being pedantic, which I assume you are, I could have said 'price inflation' but then I understimated the need for some on these forums to be a smart-arse.
Increases in prices for modules and minerals will occur if less people are producing them from high-sec L4'S. You won't see the majority of mission runners heading to low-sec if L4's are moved there, they'll just leave, as they've always said they would if a playstyle that wasn't their own was forced on them. They won't mine either, as presumably they'd have been doing it already. If EvE is a 'sandbox' then let people play how they like and stop moaning at CCP to stop the deeply heinous 'abuse' that is logging on and doing a mission because that's what you want to do.
So there'll be a vacuum of sorts and enterprising people ordinarily fill those vacuums but charge a premium for doing it.
All this assumes of course that there wouldn't be a hugely significant drop in the playerbase as the result of such a deeply stupid move on CCP's part, were they to move all L4's to low-sec. If there were a huge drop, which isn't out of the question as other much discussed alternatives become available that don't have EvE's injurous approach to PvP, then it could go the other way.
Low-sec is fine as it is, its risky but if you're organised you can make it work.
It doesn't need 'fixing' and high-sec missions don't need nerfing.
People need to let other people just get on with playing their game.
